Drooling over these clearance curtains from West Elm. I would hate to spend $75 on them if I can’t return them…..DIY?

Bird print- $5 at Michaels
Silver Matte- $1 poster board
Frame- On hand

Not bad for $6!! I mean, compared to the set of two at Pottery Barn for $59.
I decided to leave the frame gold for now. I’m really liking how the gold and silver look here. What do you think? One frame down, two to go!

Three empty frames means three new projects!

Just purchased this coffee table at DAV for $37.50! I love when they mark everything 50% off. Nothing major is wrong with it, just the drawer and a small crack in one corner. Nothing a little love can’t fix. =)

Sorry for the poor picture quality!

I need to do this to my trunk. Then I don’t have to go out and buy a filing cabinet. Amazing idea.

Target Knock-off

Target has me drooling over their blue and white line. While browsing around the store this week I saw this piece of art. I’m not exactly sure what the price was. I’m sure it was in the $30-$40 range. It wasn’t long before I was thinking I could do that myself! (I pretty much say that about everything. Just ask Josh!)

SO….

I used my Silhouette SD that I received for my birthday and purchased two doily shapes from the Silhouette store. This project only cost me a whopping $2.57 since I already owned the frames. I knew I bought six of them for a reason was saving them for something special. =)

Oh, and lets be real here, I’m not going to be one of those crazy people who iron the sheets and pillow cases before photos.

What do you think?

Before & After

Before.

After.

I bought this painting at a thrift store for $10. It was the perfect size for our blank living room wall. Even though it did not want to fit in my car, I forced it to come home with me. Four dollars for paint and a little work later it has turned into a beauty. (I cannot get over how detailed the moulding is! I love it!)

Before.

After.

I bought this chair at a yard sale for $3. I loved the worn cottage look and wanted a chair to place in our bedroom so it would be easier put on shoes or makeup. Having new bedroom decor I decided upholstering it in navy and white fabric was the best idea. I love the end result, but I may go back and touch up some of the paint, but still leaving most of the rustic look.
