Target has me drooling over their blue and white line. While browsing around the store this week I saw this piece of art. I’m not exactly sure what the price was. I’m sure it was in the $30-$40 range. It wasn’t long before I was thinking I could do that myself! (I pretty much say that about everything. Just ask Josh!)

SO….

I used my Silhouette SD that I received for my birthday and purchased two doily shapes from the Silhouette store. This project only cost me a whopping $2.57 since I already owned the frames. I knew I bought six of them for a reason was saving them for something special. =) 

Oh, and lets be real here, I’m not going to be one of those crazy people who iron the sheets and pillow cases before photos.

I bought this painting at a thrift store for $10. It was the perfect size for our blank living room wall. Even though it did not want to fit in my car, I forced it to come home with me. Four dollars for paint and a little work later it has turned into a beauty. (I cannot get over how detailed the moulding is! I love it!)

I bought this chair at a yard sale for $3. I loved the worn cottage look and wanted a chair to place in our bedroom so it would be easier put on shoes or makeup. Having new bedroom decor I decided upholstering it in navy and white fabric was the best idea. I love the end result, but I may go back and touch up some of the paint, but still leaving most of the rustic look.
